September and October: Indian Summer at L’Amarantine

Enjoy the Indian summer in La Ciotat, with quieter Calanques and L’Amarantine’s heated pools until the end of October.

After the bustle of summer, La Ciotat regains a calmer atmosphere. In September and October, the days are still bright, the sea stays gentle, and the beaches and trails become quieter.

At L’Amarantine, the private pools of Ama, Ista and Adoura stay heated until the end of October. Even when mornings or evenings turn cool, you can keep swimming and make the most of your outdoor space.

This is an ideal time to explore Mugel, Figuerolles, the Bec de l’Aigle or the Calanques of Cassis. You can also choose a sailing trip and admire the cliffs in the golden light of late afternoon.

At the end of September, the region’s private beaches gradually close for the winter. Some hold closing-season events: a sunset aperitif, music or one last summer evening. As dates vary from year to year, ask us about what is planned during your stay.

Markets, wines from Cassis and Bandol, a couples’ massage, yoga or a dinner prepared by a chef: the off-season is above all an invitation to slow down.

Coming to L’Amarantine in September or October means extending the summer without the crowds, with a heated pool, peaceful Calanques and Mediterranean gentleness.
